Our Commitment
Silver Leaf Agency is committed to making silverleafagency.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation. We treat accessibility as part of how a website should be built, not as an add-on — and we hold the sites we build for clients to the same standard.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. WCAG has three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
We are working toward conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Working toward” means we have built the Site with these guidelines as our target and we test against them, but we have not completed a full third-party audit and we do not claim complete conformance. Some content may not yet fully meet every success criterion. We are actively working to identify and resolve gaps.
What We Have Done
Measures we have taken in building and maintaining this Site include:
- Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy, landmarks, and lists
- Text and background color combinations tested to meet or exceed WCAG contrast ratios
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- Descriptive alternative text for images that convey information, and appropriate handling of decorative images
- Form fields with associated, visible labels, clear error messages, and error identification that does not rely on color alone
- Link text that describes its destination rather than relying on “click here” or “read more” alone
- A skip-to-content link at the top of each page
- Responsive layout that supports text resizing up to 200% and reflow at narrow viewport widths without loss of content or functionality
- Respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion preference
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
- Accessibility review as part of our process before publishing new pages
Known Limitations
We want to be straightforward about where the Site may fall short. As of the last review date:
- Third-party embedded content. Maps, video players, scheduling widgets, and social media embeds are controlled by their providers. We select accessible options where we have a choice, but we cannot fully control their behavior.
- PDFs and downloadable documents. Some documents may not be fully tagged for screen reader use. We are remediating these as we identify them, and we will provide an accessible alternative on request.
- Client-supplied media. Logos, screenshots, and images provided by clients may occasionally have incomplete alternative text until we review them.
- Video captions. Where video is used, we provide captions. Audio descriptions may not be available for all content.
If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us — see below.
Technical Specifications
Accessibility of this Site relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and on the accessibility features of your browser and any assistive technology you use. The Site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) used with common assistive technologies. We test with keyboard navigation and screen readers as part of our development process.
How We Assess Accessibility
We evaluate the Site through a combination of automated testing tools, manual keyboard testing, and manual review against the WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria. Automated tools catch only a portion of accessibility issues, so manual review is a required part of our process. We review the Site when we make significant changes and at least annually. This Site has not undergone an independent third-party accessibility audit.
Feedback — We Want to Hear From You
If you have difficulty accessing any part of this Site, or if you have suggestions for how we can improve, please contact us. Feedback from people who use the Site helps us more than any tool does.

Phone: (717) 220-3332

Please include the page address (URL), a description of the problem, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, if you know them.
Our response commitment. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two business days and to provide a substantive response — either a fix, a timeline, or an accessible alternative — within ten business days. If a fix will take longer, we will tell you why and give you a realistic date.
Alternative access. If you cannot access information on the Site, contact us and we will provide that information to you in another format — by phone, by email, or in a document format that works with your assistive technology — at no cost.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a one-time project. As we add pages and features, we test them, and as standards and assistive technology evolve, we update our approach. We review this statement whenever we make significant changes to the Site and at least once a year.
